 Focus

Focus
has everything to do with your brain wave pattern. When your brain
waves are firing fast, they typically experience an enhanced ability to
focus. When you're feeling mentally fatigued or sluggish and you have a cup of coffee to help you focus, what you're really doing is providing your body with a stimulant that speeds up your brain waves. In extreme cases, people may even begin to rely on stimulants such as cocaine to help enhance their focus and give themselves the "edge".
There are a few downsides to relying on chemicals to speed up your brain activity. The first is that you may start to experience a dependency on those chemicals - ask any coffee drinker about that first cup in the morning. And when the effect of the chemical goes away, your brain goes back to its' old state - nothing has changed and the cycle begins again. Another downside is that overexposure to these chemicals can adversely affect your health by increasing the output of adrenaline and cortisol into your bloodstream, which can affect blood pressure, cholesterol and brain structures related to short-term memory.
Brain Music Therapy's activating file helps gently and naturally speed up your brain waves to enhance your own focus. Not only does it speed up brain waves, it helps to train your brain to speed up on its own without the use of chemicals. Many of our clients report a reduced reliance on coffee and other stimulants while their mental focus is sustained through the whole day.
