Time management is a half truth that has been held out as the full truth for too long.

If you're a good time manager, let me shake your hand - it takes some talent and discipline to do that.  To make lists, prioritise and checking things off can make you incredibly efficient.

Likely however, they won't make you effective...

At least not on their own.

Being efficient but not effective is a lot like bailing the water out of a sinking boat without plugging up the hole.  It does keep you afloat for longer, but ultimately, when you tire, there's going to be some problems.
