Communication

Communication is one of the most important skills that you can learn.

People fall in love, start wars, follow leaders, spend money and find peace based on the communication they receive from others and themselves.

If you're interested in becoming more persuasive, influential and powerful one-on-one or in front of an audience of 1000, I can show you how.  The first thing that you need to understand about communication is this:

Communication happens at multiple layers of awareness

You may or may not be aware of the fact that your mind has both a conscious level of awareness and an unconscious level of awareness.  Your conscious level is relatively limited when compared to your unconscious mind.

While your conscious mind is listening to the words a person is saying, your unconscious mind is listening between the words, monitoring voice tone, body posture, heart rate, facial expression and a host of other variables to determine whether you should believe the person or not.  When you are speaking, your listener is doing the same thing.

The place we start in communication coaching is with yourself - how well are you communicating with yourself?  Are you saying positive, exciting and enthusiastic things to yourself, or are you imagining all the crappy things that could possibly happen to you?

Whichever you're doing, you're stacking the odds in your favour for the outcome you're imagining.

If you're one of those people who seize up in front of people, we need to deal with that before we teach you any techniques - no technique is effective if you sit there with a deer in the headlights, slack-jawed look on your face.  Luckily, this phobic response is relatively easy to deal with and install a positive mindset in it's place.

Once you've got your head on straight about that, then we get on to developing specific skills to boost your ability to communicate effectively.  The skills that we'll be working on together, will include:

  • Rapid rapport building
  • Values elicitation
  • Future pacing
  • Power Words
  • Personality profiling
  • Sensory processing
  • Objection handling
  • Anchoring
  • Body language
  • Success mind set
  • Story telling

All of these elements are powerful tools in your ability to communicate effectively.

People we've trained have used these skills to increase their business dramatically ( a professional speaker used these skills to triple her book sales), enhance their effectiveness in negotiations (one client said that this information got him another $250,000 in the sale of his business) and improve their relationships at home (another client was able to repair her relationship with her teen aged daughter).

Whether it's a one-on-one coaching program or a seminar of Persuasion Dynamics, this information is vital for your success.  For a 5 session mini course of the basics of persuasive communication, click here.
