Autism Spectrum Disorders
Autism spectrum disorders are complex to work with due to multiple causations and the uniqueness of each case. this is a condition that effects not only the central nervous system but he entire body as well.
From an EEG point of view, people on the autism spectrum frequently show up with disrupted, low frequency and asymmetrical EEG's. While our research with ASD clients has been largely anecdotal, our clients have reported a decrease in behaviours, better focus and, in some cases, better speech. We believe there is a great deal of promise with Brain Music Therapy for people in the ASD spectrum.
